A person with high professional knowledge

It was a marvellous, sunny day in Paris, when I saw Stieg the last time in June 2004. He was the rapporteur of the OSCE conference on Internet and Hate Crime.

I knew him over many years, the chairman and spirit of our Swedish National Focal Point of RAXEN. Full of knowledge and experienced, commitment and enthusiasm was his contribution an important element for the success of this international conference like it was nearly always the case.

Afterwards we both spoke about our common issues, he was clear and sensitive. I asked him for advice and he gave me his support.

It is a great gift if you work together with people who have such a high professional knowledge and have at the same time personal strength and sensitivity.

Stieg was such a person - for me and the EUMC.
